Does this one actually have anything to do with oil? Sure the billionaires are going to profit massively from the oil, but it seems like this is more about Trump wanting to exert himself than anything.

    Also Epstein.

Venezuela has a ton of oil and it happens to be chemically very similar to Canadian oil which the USA has a lot of refining capacity for.

It definitely is about trump wanting to use the military he thinks he owns. But it also means they don’t need to worry about Canadian oil as much.

Venezuelan oil infrastructure will take a decade to modernize at least. No oil company wants to take on that kind of investment in an area with so much risk

The invasion of Carcas especially has to do with oil. The socialist government in Venezuela nationalized the oil industry in 2007, which provoked an exodus of foreign oil companies. And before the operation took place, Trump consulted with Exxon executives on the attack.

This one is definitely oil since Trump explicitly stated it. 2001 was not and has been debunked

It’s probably more about Epstein than anything else, but it’s definitely also about the oil. Otherwise why choose Venezuela?

Because the socialist government in Venezuela nationalized the oil industry in 2007, which provoked an exodus of foreign oil companies, including American corporations like Exxon. If you look at the past decade, it was clear that an invasion was imminent, given the threatening statements and harsh sanctions by every US administration in the past.
