Forgets to drink for another 7 hours
Ginger tea works really well for nausea (and it contains water too!).
Ginger ale aswell, but it contains sugar.
But it… helps?
of course. i forget drinking water alarmingly often. but if i feel nauseous i usually remember
Me, when I was on Elvanse (lisdexamfetamine) no matter how much water I drank
i’m happy that medikinet (methylphenidat/ concerta) works for me, because my nausea really comes from not drinking enough and i can treat it with water

im 37 years old, i know how thirst feels unmedicated and in all those years i never had problems remembering to drink. the first three weeks of taking methylphenidat and i forgot it nearly everyday to the point of getting dizzy because the feeling of thirst is missing. i’m pretty sure i’m not pathologizing

“Eat my shorts”?

- comes to an adhd community
- makes comment about predictable answers
- doesnt get answer he expected
- huh, how did that go wrong?
Having ADHD is cool on Lemmy, because it’s one of the few places where it’s safe to talk about the daily challenges of living with ADHD with people who understand you and won’t judge you.
You are actively making it uncool to talk about ADHD by downplaying and dismissing people’s struggles with ADHD by calling ADHD symptoms a pathologized neurotypical experience. So please stop.
