Hello! I’m an admin on ttrpg.network. Recently, our hosting provider let us know that they are going out of business. I’m trying to find a new provider to migrate to.
A little bit of information, i would like:

Not to self host - I travel a lot for work, and i can’t guarantee that my home internet/server is always available.

Prefer a managed service if possible - Again, due to the above, if something goes wrong while i’m out of town, I might not have time to troubleshoot issues for a week or more.
My current service is a managed service, so I can open tickets if something goes wrong and have their support team look in to it. Googling, the only other service i can find that has managed services is elest.io, which mostly just looks like a wrapper for services like AWS and others, and the server configurations look like they might get pretty pricey to get anything near comparable.
Currently, our instance uses around ~1 TB of data after backup and everything is included, and we have a 4TB quota at our current host, 8 GB of ram, and I’m not entirely sure of the CPU or anything. All for around ~$25 USD/month.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve seen a few other options
Finding a fully managed Lemmy server for a similar low price seems unlikely (and K&H have probably under-priced this).
I think it would be more worthwhile to find some additional admins to share the burden and move to some reasonably priced VPS.
Yeah, i figured it was probably under priced with our current host, but im not looking to balloon costs 4-5x or something when switching to a new host, hopefully. I’d like fully managed if possible, but yeah, another thought was including people who could look at things in my stead, though I don’t really have a list of people i’m aware of who i could recruit.
It’s worth a try asking your current members in a local sticky-post. Just make sure you do a realistic estimation on how often you might not be available so that they know how involved it might become.
Otherwise the people over at db0 are trialing an “armada” concept of sharing admin burdens between instances. So that is also something you might want to consider.
hetzner supplies hosting with Yunohost as the OS, which makes it easier to host, but it’s self hosting on someone else’s hardware
