Not much to mention this week.
In Final Fantasy XIV I am reaching main quests level 50, which I believe are the highest level quests in the base game, so shouldn’t be too much left in my free trial.
Played some more of Tiny Lands, reached world 8 so only about 25 or so levels remaining.
Played some Judgment too. It’s nice to play a brawler after playing MMO combat or cozy games.
Reached Chapter 7, some pretty interesting story stuff going on. Getting a bit tired of the side stories, most of those end up following someone or chasing someone. Both get kinda boring after a while. The stories themselves are weird and interesting, but not a big fan of gameplay for most of these.
What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?
Regarding FFXIV, hopefully this is good news to you, but you still have dozens of hours of free play time.
The trial goes to level 70 and includes the first two expansions!
I’ll also be playing FFXIV because of the newest patch.
But beyond that, I have Ghost of Yotei to play. It’s been good far!
Ah, cool. I thought it was base game only.
I recently saw a video of all the jobs, so was thinking about trying couple of them once I read the end of base game, but if I can play the expansion will keep going with that!
Yeah, try them all (that you have access to). It’s really fun to see how they differ.
And after the base game you’ll get to play Heavensward - which is a fan favorite story. A lot of people like it the best of all of them, even. Though I’m an Endwalker kinda guy myself.
Ahan, cool. I have already level 57 though, would the level 70 cap cause an issue for playing Heavensward?
I did unlock every single class that I could, but most of them are at level 1, with few in level 5-10. Will try a few of them in some depth later on.
Heavensward back in the day was 50 - 60 level content, and Stormblood after that was 60 - 70 level.
If anything you’ll be a bit overleveled as you go through that stuff. But that’s no biggie since the dungeons and whatnot are dialed in to your gear’s iLevel more than your base level.
Ahan, ok. Thanks for the info.
