As you may know NOSTR (Notes and Other STuff via Relays) is another protocol for the fediverse like ActivityPub. In order to allow AP folks to communicate with NOSTR folks there are [at least] two “bridges” (mostr.pub & momostr.pink) created to allow certain level of server, client interaction between the two.
For some reason no lemmy communities nor users are ever found by either. It works just fine for mbin magazines and users. Do any of you have an idea why?
Because nostr is a tiny network with a relatively large contingent of nazis and crypto clowns. Nothing of value to be found there.
@bruhbeans@lemmy.ml there are certainly a lot of bitcoin bois, that can get annoying, but I’ve seen a lot more nazi, facists, terf, and racist content on certain corners of the ActivityPub powered 'verse than I have in the year or so I’ve had a NOSTR account in that part of the 'verse.
@bruhbeans@lemmy.ml really? Where is the federation limited, from a technical perspective?
or are you saying that no one has bothered to look into it because of this reason.
