@lvxferre I don’t need them to sleep together, just hold hands or go on a date.
Kitagawa can appear half naked at a cosplay convention in front of dozens but can’t tell a boy she likes him 🤷
I don’t need them to sleep together either. But it’s fun how Marin fooled herself into believing that.
The manga explores it better, but Marin’s issue is not shyness - she’s afraid that, if she confesses her feelings, Wakana might distance himself from her. And she doesn’t want to lose his friendship. (She’s basically friendzoning herself!)
@lvxferre
“she doesn’t want to lose his friendship.”
Indeed, how can we help her make take the leap? 😁
If I were to answer this I’d be spoiling it with content from the manga, so… sorry 🫢
@lvxferre I hope we get there this season, asking for season renewal is always a gamble.
I don’t think we’ll see it this season. But the show is popular, and there’s enough content for three seasons, so I do think we’ll see a third season.
In fact, I think they’ve been planning this since the start:
It splits too cleanly to not be on purpose, you know?
S1 touches on that subject: you can almost feel like an entirely different person when you cosplay a character.
