    I don’t need them to sleep together either. But it’s fun how Marin fooled herself into believing that.

    Kitagawa can appear half naked at a cosplay convention in front of dozens but can’t tell a boy she likes him 🤷

    The manga explores it better, but Marin’s issue is not shyness - she’s afraid that, if she confesses her feelings, Wakana might distance himself from her. And she doesn’t want to lose his friendship. (She’s basically friendzoning herself!)

            I don’t think we’ll see it this season. But the show is popular, and there’s enough content for three seasons, so I do think we’ll see a third season.

            In fact, I think they’ve been planning this since the start:

            • Season 1 - from ch. 01 (vol. 1) to ch. 39 (end of vol. 5)
            • Season 2 - from ch. 40 (vol. 6) to ch. 79 (end of vol. 10)? Current content is ch. 76.
            • Season 3 - from ch. 80 (vol. 11) to ch. 115 (end of vol. 14)?

            It splits too cleanly to not be on purpose, you know?
