Not voting for a democrat you mean? I think leftists would vote for a left wing candidate if you Dems can ever bring yourself to nominate one for President. Otherwise it’s just more of the same.

My exact point. NYC, a place that actually has leftists that vote, has now moved left past the DNC. The DNC is the stepping stone to go further left. This is only possible in NYC because of voting.

Yes, your point is you think leftists dont vote. We get it.

Our point is leftists dont vote when the candidate is trash. The votes are there the candidates are not.

There isnt anything special about NYC beyond having a high population density that makes it hard for the fascist trash to gain power there.

Yes, but candidates will never appeal to a base that doesn’t vote. What is special about NYC is that there is no room for right wing propaganda.

Tired trope that has been disproven repeatedly. What you’re missing is that the left voters are what drives the energy to get all the nonvoters to the booth.

Without that energy the dems lose.

Cornel West ran, non-voters exist because they are happy with either front runner winning. If they wanted neither then they would protest vote.

Most non-voters I know just feel entirely hopeless that any election will lead to improvement. I always vote (and always for a 3rd party), but I’ve stopped giving my non-voting friends a hard time. As one of them said: “I don’t vote for the head of the KKK either!”
