    I have no problem criticizing the west or the US but can we stop short of pushing state news?

      Should we ban BBC and NPR as well? How about any newspaper that has been shown to be infiltrated or complicit with state propaganda operations like the NYT?

        Stay critical of the media. I’m just saying actual government ran media doesn’t hold much value.

          State media in practice just means they disclose who owns them, instead of hiding their connections to government agencies through many layers of fake independent organizations.

            Most local news stations are owned by media conglomerates, most newspapers too. If anyone ‘owns’ them in any other sense, it’s through financially motivated means.
