Update: Ended up using a VM via boxes of windows 10 pro. Modified the monitoring .dll for SEB and works perfectly in a VM now without getting detected. Wish they had linux support but this is the only way…


There’s no need to have an entire laptop for that, just have a copy of Windows installed on a bootable USB stick (and disable your main drive if needed).
To make restoration even more easier, you could have Windows self-contained inside a
.VHDfile and boot it using Ventoy, which makes it easy to backup and restore. So once you’re done with the exam thing, just restore the clean VHD back. And use a tiny debloated copy of Windows such as Tiny10 or something so that your VHD is much smaller, making it even more quicker to backup and restore.
