After this error screen for few seconds it automatically boots into Ubuntu.

I won’t disparage Unbuntu and let you form your own opinion about it. However my experience with Mint has been stellar and the few people I’ve given a copy too have installed and stuck with it at least as a dual boot solution.
I even put mint on my mom’s pc and she very rarely has any issues. Works for almost everything out of the box.
