        I suppose that’s a good point. Like MLK Jr. was proposing a peaceful resolution to inequality, and the alternative was Malcolm X, the Nation of Islam, and the Black Panthers. I doubt MLK would have been as effective without those counterparts.

    These protests are important but they’re still people who believe the state can be reasoned with.

    The repression is equally important, it means they’re scared enough to risk radicalising people.
