    Libreoffice is doing great work. it just needs an auto updater on Windows.

      I’m pretty sure you can set that up with Chocolatey and Task Scheduler. I’m not sure if you can do the same with the Windows Package Manager winget.

        Yknow I’ve been thinking of trying to use some of the friendlier package manager stuff but shits hard sometimes.

        Maybe its just my dislike of powershell or my unfamiliarity with windows’es file systems but Ive found myself scrounging around trying to rip out incomplete installs of stuff a lot.

        I do it with scoop installer, but, it’s not perfect. sometimes, I get a warning about it being a portable install. It’s a minor annoyance for me as I’ve got good internet but same is not true in remote parts of the world. Having to download a 300+ mb installer on each minor update hinders adoption.
