you could use Windows Boot Manager instead of grub… it’s already built in and being used every time you boot into windows anyways.
i would guess near night clubs and the like… they’re more likely to use them, and drunk people are more likely to toss them willy nilly…

eventually i switched to Windows Boot Manager (built into windows) and luckily it stopped breaking….
