Mojang is owned by Microsoft. Both versions of the game are developed by Mojang which is beholden to what Microsoft’s goals for the game are.

And then they pissed off their entire userbase with the PSN requirement. Incidentally AFAIK you still can’t buy the game in countries that don’t have PSN accounts available. So the fuckery probably isn’t over.

The US is one of 3 countries on the planet that still stubbornly primarily uses imperial units. “The US doesn’t do it that way” isn’t a great argument for not adopting a standard.

The people that said it wasn’t from nintendo never bothered checking who registered the domain. ICANN allows for searching for this information easily but it was even easier to just say “well it doesnt look legit to me” instead of actually checking. And yes that domain (mm-nintendo.com) is registered to Nintendo of America as you can verify here: https://lookup.icann.org/en

The extensions revamp that they did killed most of the really cool extensions. At that point, there was really no point in staying with Firefox.
Or the devs could have fixed the bug and not expect the player to work around it.
