Decent episode, I’m still not sure how to feel about this show. It’s got decent humor, but it’s not pushing the bounds. It’s got a few serious-ish moments, but nothing too deep. Feels a bit like Otaku Elf just from the pacing. I don’t know, maybe I’m wildly off and it just goes up.
Anyways, what the hell’s up with that chick in the closet? Did I miss a memo? Did I get a cursed copy of the show? Mom, come pick me up. I’m scared.

I get the feeling that we’re gonna have to wait a few episodes to really make a final judgement call on her character. Just can’t say whether she’s a victim of “just get the show moving” or “she’s hopeless”
Yeah, looks like you’ve put a bit more thought into the deployment that I did. I was going to run it as a scheduled task on my personal computer (I’m cheap) and was only going to move it to a cloud env if it became clear that was going to cause issues.
As for the Git repo, I took a different philosophy. Since Reddit and Lemmy are two separate entities and the dev team for the original repo showed little interest in porting it I figured I would just fork it and leave it as a new repo specific to Lemmy. I didn’t want to really go through the effort of supporting both sites.
I think we can go with your setup, it solves my main concern of supporting both sites since we can both work on it. I’ll PM you some of the minor things I changed to better support Lemmy. I haven’t heard back from the mods since yesterday, so no threads just yet!
Honestly giving the 2 time a mid rating is generous to me, I’m not sure on what you’ve seen but if you’ve seen Arifureta I’d put THAT above summoned for a 2nd time.

Honestly a strong start to an anime I was expecting to be trash. Im hoping it stays strong and that I end up feeling stupid for thinking bad about it.
MC is a bit of an oddball, but doesn’t seem like a bad dude. Little dense, but what isekai MC isn’t at least as dense as gold.
The premise is this 👌 close to overdone for me (im overpowered but no one knows! Including me!) but I can bear with it for a bit longer, hopefully it ends better than Summoned for a Second Time or I Got a Cheat Skill (seriously that shit was beyond bad).
Overall im looking forward to EP2
I second Kaguya-sama. Easy watch with that perfect amount of humor/drama/romance.
Although you gotta find a way to watch S2 and 3, banger after banger in those seasons.
First few minutes of the first episode had me thinking “how tf did this get past ANYONE, much less make it on air?”
Last episode has me feeling sad its over and no S2 announcement.
Also, that episode with the tractor has to be the biggest “OOOOHHHHH its one of THOSE show” moments I’ve ever had. Everything just fell into place.
I agree, easy recommend for anyone looking for a A+ shitpost anime.
Glad to see she got out of that shit house with a shit “family”, but damn am I worried with where this might lead. Just reading the shows description gave me anxiety.
Also, fuck that dad. Who the fuck lets their daughter get ostracized by their new wife/daughter? That shits despicable.

Wow, I’m impressed with just how good it all looks. I thought S1 looked fantastic but this is another level. Voice acting was great, sound design was perfect, just an insane start to a season. Makes me a little scared to see how they can keep it up for another 22 episodes.
Story wise im still surprised to see us stick completely with the flashback (is it really a flashback if it isn’t momentary?). I haven’t read the manga, and I avoided anything preview related to go in blind, looks like that didn’t really matter.
Here’s hoping this is the worst episode, cause then it’d be a 10/10 season. I can definitely see this being the AOTS, but not calling it just yet

I was really wondering how it’d work given that all of this basically happens in between regular series episodes, it felt a little jarring going from long haired Miyamura to short haired, but I got over it pretty quickly.
It felt like an episode of OVAs (IMO), I wonder if other works will get this treatment if it ends up doing well. Might be interesting

I was already on the fence about if I’d like this show for the animation style, but this story is kinda rough. MC is creepy, and his thoughts are kinda repetitive imo. Im still not 100% on how I feel about it.
Still gonna watch it to the end tho, im in too deep. Sunken cost and all that jazz. Hope it gets better
