My entire friend group all found each other essentially through dating apps. It’s a way to form connections outside of sex for sure, it’s just not talked about much.

Women are simply objects in those situations. Something to be ogled at as they walk by. Men don’t care what those women think of them, they’re signaling to each other that they find that woman attractive.

Situationships are almost exclusively used for sexual relationships. Usually they’re a no-strings-attached type relationship, maybe someone is developing feelings, maybe it’s not reciprocated, but you still get together to fuck.
