There were 8 options and Debian has ranked choice voting. This was actually around the middle of the spectrum of options, so with half voting most to least restrictive and the other vice versa, the middle of the road choice won.

It’s from a prediction market site (which is just gambling in a trenchcoat and Groucho Marx glasses) where you buy shares in the prediction of an outcome. That’s the price for a share in “Yes”.

It’s named after the sort of people who think that was a good idea.
