I laughed way too hard at this

The Buddy Nutty Cave 😏

Man I got a beef with you and I’m totally about to day it

I feel like this is following the letter of harm reduction and not the spirit of harm reduction…
I can’t remember where I heard this or of it is true, but apparently it would have cost significantly more money to deceive the public with a fake moon landing than it would have been to fund the mission. When I think about the effort they would have put behind this ruse it makes sense as I’m sure the media was all over the event and the fakery wouldn’t have been isolated to a single broadcast.
One of my favorite quotes is “The only way three people can keep a secret is if two of them are dead”, from some random western movie, but yes people love to blab.
Go make friends with a woman (or date one if you can manage that), hang out with her when she isn’t wearing make up. You’ll miss those lashes.

Thank you for your well thought out, non-reactionary response. This is the energy we need on lemmy. Not more knee-jerk outrage.

Oh here is my strategy:
Friend: “I really like X, I hope they don’t die”
Me: “Oh they go hard in the final episode its great!”
Friend: “WOOOOOOOOW SPOILERS!!!”
Me: “I’M SO SORRY”
The character dies in episode 4
Friend: “YOU FUCKING LIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!”
To anyone suggesting karma is a good anti bot tool, remember there is karma whoring. Nothing is stopping a bot from spamming useless things, and interacting with other bot posts to build karma. This is already happening on reddit when you navigate to weird subs where all the content is coming from one account posting links to the same shitty tabloid site. Yet this content is getting upvotes from something.
Karma is security theater, I think the mods were the true anti-bot force.
For the naysayers, intuition has actually been proven to exist, the more scientific term is implicit learning and tacit knowledge. In summary we actually are much more aware of our environment and lived experience when we realize. Through this unconscious awareness we can actually pick up on patterns and use this passive knowledge in our lives as intuition.

Learning about the staring experiment is rather interesting too!
As a caveat, you need to allow good information in, get offline, talk to people in real life, move your body. If you’re implicitly learning garbage, your intuition will be garbage.
