Your way of thinking makes sense but you’re interpreting it wrong.
If you can round up and say “0,9_ = 1” , then why can’t you round down and repeat until “0 = 1”? The thing is, there’s no rounding up, the 0,0…1 that you’re adding is infinitely small (inexistent).
It looks a lot less unintuitive if you use fractions:
1/3 = 0.3_
0.3_ * 3 = 0.9_
0.9_ = 3/3 = 1

That sounds worse than a complete AI art ban. If you’re an amateur dev with an idea, some programming skill and zero budget, you can’t use AI art to make your game look a little better than all the crappy asset flips. But if you’re a big studio with a portfolio to train the AI on, you can cut 90% of your art team to use mostly AI. Indie devs lose, artists lose and big corps win, as usual
The movies did a great job at presenting thanos as an extremist that sincerely wants the greater good by questionable means, but it falls apart because his grand plan is just so stupid. The only way to reconcile the sympathetic character with the dumb plan is to point out he’s “THANOS THE MAD TITAN”, not “THANOS THE TITAN THAT FULLY CONSIDERS THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS ACTIONS”
Would have been much better if they just kept his original motivation from the comics: Death is a hot lady and horny thanos does the snap as a gift to her
