This post is discussing the phenomenon of people thinking that science is objective and rigid when in reality it is anything but.
It’s not though. That’s all you.

I don’t want to deflate your assumption, but “Science is pure objectivity and truth”.
The assumption you introduced just added another layer on by bringing Marxism into it. And here’s the thing with that fallacy; you may be very right! But, it’s got nothing to do with the original statement anymore. It’s just going down tangents of a tangent that should be explored under their own initiative, not the blanket of “science”.
It’s not literal; as the fallacy credits, neither is it necessarily wrong. But(!!!), they’re just not related.
The entire post itself—and your reply—is social science. But science is incapable of alignment to any -ism. All isms are human-made. If they are 100% true, they are not isms.
Edit: Sorry, I’m drunk af, so probably you are right…maybe… At least in my mind, I’m just reading Statement B as literally as Statement A and therefore can’t see correlation without social agenda—theyre just two very different things. Science and agenda; or agenda using “science”. It’s bias. That’s very unscientific.
This is a clean example of an ignoratio elenchi fallacy.
Statement B attempts to use Statement A to make an unrelated point that isn’t necessarily untrue, but it is still unrelated.
This could be done with any combination of…
“Under capitalism, <random thing> is…”
“Under <random ism>, science is…”
They would all result in a statement that supports Speaker B, but is no longer relevant to what Speaker A stated, as the topic has changed. In this case, from science to capitalism.
I.e. It’s an anti-capitalism meme attempting to use science to appeal to a broader audience through relevance fallacy. Both statements may be true, but do not belong in the same picture.
Unless, of course, “that’s the joke” and I’m just that dumb.
Edit: I’m not a supporter of capitalism. But I am a supporter of science—haha, like it needs me to exist—and this is an interesting example of social science. It seems personal opinion is paramount to some individuals rather than unbiased assessment of the statement as a whole. Call me boring and autistic, but that’s what science be and anything else isn’t science, it’s just personal opinion, belief, theory, etc.
Possibly. People that have allergic reactions to venomous stings can see it for multiple insects, though it’s not common. The only way to know is testing, by whacking a stick on the nests of different wasp species and taking note if any make you anaphylactic. If you’re all good, you can be more assured it’s just bees, but nothing’s 100% certain until you aggravate insects with a stick and test.
I dunno. Todd could be exaggerating…

Yep, Todd probably was entertained.
This is how I lost 30% of my possessions moving house.
So memes; not Shitposts.
Fortunately, there’s plenty of meme communities here. Just type “meme” into search and start hitting that +. I’d also recommend blocking shitpost communities if you don’t like them, especially as it seems you’re viewing an uncurated “All”. Hope that helps :)
The shitpost should be less shitposty?
It’d still work, but that’s against the whole point. I mean, you’re just proving it worked as designed. That’s quality shitposting.
The issue is similar to using other people’s data for profit. It’s easy to not feel that’s the case because “it’s the AI that does that, not me.”
There’s a lot of concerns around it. Mine is that we have longer periods of style with minimal variety because of artist stagnation due to lack of financial backing. Though, this is for all gen AI as it depends on humans for progression, else it stagnates. People are already getting AI art fatigue because it feels like that old 2005–2015 Adobe Illustrato vector art everyone was doing, because it is. It was an incredibly popular and overused style back then, so itt’ brimming with it in comparison to other art styles it got from the internet. It already looks dated, but acceptable because it’s familiar to most. It depends on more artists progressing our art to be able to do the same. But it won’t do that as fast if art culture is slowed due to lack of support.
Because then artists aren’t getting paid but you’re still using their art. The AI isn’t making art for you just because you typed a prompt in. It got everything it needs to do that from artists.
Not to alarm anyone, but unless you’re doing the 100m in around 11s or less, current large crocodiles are still faster than you. But if you’re fit enough to keep the speed going, you should outlast them over short enough distance.
And if you can’t do any of that, well you’ll have to run lateral to it and hope your agility out maneouvers them.
Lace it with LSD and it’ll fix my outlook on life for about six months until reality wears me down again.
I’ve never watched it apart from trying a couple episodes and not liking it at all. I don’t even like the memes.
Yeah I said it! Watchya gonna do?! prepares to run
Actually the hotter peppers tend to have much more flavour. Jalapenos are a more flavourful than similar weak peppers, making them popular. However if you’ve built just some tolerance for hotter peppers and you don’t really notice the heat, that’s where flavour town starts and there’s so much variety.
I make a lot of sauces and chutneys, and habanero is my favourite for its super strong flavour and versatility, despite not being too hot. But I also love some of the stronger peppers (like ghosts and reapers) for their heat. Like reaper has an acidic burn that goes amazing with vinegary sauces, but also has a fairly good flavour.
Yup, that’s standard. If you’re about three responses in, give up, it’s already lost and incapable of focusing on the requirements. It will also lie to please. There is zero admission of confidence score. You only pick up on the things you know are wrong and considering how often that is, the rest can only be taken with a grain of salt.
Aw man, I bet it turns out all along I’m just training AI. Why not? What a valuable asset I am. I bet I’ll end up paying for myself later
The part showing the angle is not part of it. They should’ve made it a dotted line or something.
Though, two of the 90° angles are.actually 270.
Y’all have to use ISP provided modems?
In this context, you use the term “belief” very well.
