I think we can very strongly infere that other humans are conscious from knowing that we are conscious ourselves and seeing that other peoples brains work in the same way as ours and people think and behave in a very similar way as us and also have a concept of what consciousness is that corresponds with our own. In my opinion believing that other people aren’t conscious is in the same category of beliefs as the past, the future or even the world and physical laws not existing outside of our subjective experiences. In my opinion modern screens are scratch resistant enough to put in the pocket without many problems and if you need more resistance you can get a screen protecting foil or a case. If my non foldable phone would scratch too much in my pockets I wouldn’t really think about replacing it with a device that is twice as expensive and has an additional hinge that could fail.

I think The 50mA is only the maximum current a device is allowed to draw. I found a document from texas instrument that devices may deliver up to 0.5 A in a short circuit condition. So the monitor could deliver more than 50mA. But the graphics card probably draws more than it’s supposed to.
