Wait… older tvs support ntfs but not exfat? What bizarro world are we living in?

Dp to hdmi is very reliable. The siginals are near identical, the adapter is just a level shifter. Not much can go wrong. Issues arise when talking about either cheaply made (out of spec) or active adapters.
it makes the product feel less refined/premium/sleek in my opinion
Maybe for Apple users.

There is no technical reason DP doesnt have ARC. Its more of the industry is strangled by the HDMI forum. So you’ll never find an AV receiver with DP… thus no reasons for vesa to waste bandwidth for a feature that the industry will never adopt.

I mean… if someone can’t figure out which end goes where. Theres gonna struggle with a standard hdmi cable. I guess they could custom print big text on the cable ends to make it clear which end goes where. They’ll certainly have the volume to make such customization.

They can just bundle them? It still be cheaper than paying for the licensing. What is the issue here?

Except there is no reason to ever put hdmi on the hardware. Displayport is superior to hdmi in every way, and when you need to step down to peasant land… a simple passive DP to hdmi cable/adapter will do the job. To even drive the point how shit hdmi is, you cant use a passive adapter from hdmi to dp, you’ll need a very expensive active adapter to do it.

I suppose. It is contagious.

Article 13. All of the people shall be respected as individuals. Their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness shall, to the extent that it does not interfere with the public welfare, be the supreme consideration in legislation and in other governmental affairs.
Is there fine print thay says unless youre gay?
- To be able forcefully and threateningly to oppose this party, whose betrayal of the workers will begin with the very first hour of victory, the workers must be armed and organized. The whole proletariat must be armed at once with muskets, rifles, cannon and ammunition, and the revival of the old-style citizens’ militia, directed against the workers, must be opposed. Where the formation of this militia cannot be prevented, the workers must try to organize themselves independently as a proletarian guard, with elected leaders and with their own elected general staff; they must try to place themselves not under the orders of the state authority but of the revolutionary local councils set up by the workers. Where the workers are employed by the state, they must arm and organize themselves into special corps with elected leaders, or as a part of the proletarian guard. Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary. The destruction of the bourgeois democrats’ influence over the workers, and the enforcement of conditions which will compromise the rule of bourgeois democracy, which is for the moment inevitable, and make it as difficult as possible – these are the main points which the proletariat and therefore the League must keep in mind during and after the approaching uprising. – Karl Marx, 1850
As I too would wish to live in a world without the need of arms and conflict. But so as long there is wealth inequality and people seeking power, there will be opressors.
Americans (and by extension westerns) today have been pacifified by labor rights that allowed a middle class to expand, and fed propaganda their entire lifes that they just have to work hard and they too can be successful. All things weakening the cooperation power of the working class. Those rights we enjoy today were not given by charity. They were fought with blood and tears. And those rights are slowly being stripped away. The middle class is eroding away. Taking away people rights to arms only serves to strengthen the oppressors. And when all on the rights people before us fought for are gone, we will have nothing to fight back.
And right now, america has a nazi problem. The last thing we need be doing is forfeiting arms to them.

That is purely comestics.
Or you know… they practice yoga…
Also when i think “prayer hands”. I think of this one 🙏 not this 🤲. That one doesnt appear when you search “thanks”. And i think it would be a little strange to use. Perhaps if the tone is showing ‘humility’?
I shall inform south asian people that they are using their hands wrong.

The thing about floppies is they were mass produced with pressure to be the cheapest on the market for consumers. The newer the floppy, the more shit quailty it is and less likely to retain data. Tapes meant for enterprise storage meant for long term backups will be high quailty and has a pretty good chance of lasting decades.

What’s corporate slop
Do i really need to iterate the shenanigans of canonical?
Flatpaks support drag and drop just fine. I think you’re confused?
I once installed discord as a flatpak and couldn’t drag and drop files. Installed the .deb and it worked perfectly fine. I also had a lot of file permissions issues with flatpaks. I now avoid them like the plague.
The same thing Ubuntu does: reliability
And how is mint less reliable? Because it has less maintainers? So if you have a billion maintainers, then it should be more reliable? Right? Totally wont be a spaghetti mess. Unless you can actually provide metrics… we can assume windows is more reliable for having thousands of highly paid developers… by your own logic.

Mint is based on ubuntu, and doesnt have the corporate slop. Bazzitte relies on flatpaks which is janky at best. Try explaining why you cant drag and drop in applications because they’ve been sandboxed…
As for fedora… what does it offer better? Or is it just personal taste?

Iirc, _t is to denote a reserved standard type names.
Ants don’t have recessions, or gas chambers, or nuclear bombs, or greenhouse gas pollution, or strip mining, or seafloor dragging. That’s a human invention.
No… but they got colonial slavery down pat.
You can launch non-steam games through steam. As for discord game invites… dunno, litterally never use that.
