I’ve been thinking about joining the Fediverse for a long time now but was always too lazy to take the first step. Now with the troubles over at YOU-KNOW-WHICH-PLATFORM, I finally did it.
Tried a few different instances over the couple two weeks until I finally settled with my current one. Communities seem to be generally much nicer and less toxic. Glad to be part if this - should have done it much sooner!
Of course.
They tried putting a polician in place. Trump happened. That didn’t work out the way it should have. So now they’re trying to put industry leaders in place. Besides retrying round one.
We’ll see how that will go.
