Yeah, I was expecting a weird dick pocket, which would be uncomfortable. Those are just boxer briefs, which certainly are much better. I think I’ve seen around online that some women have “discovered” them since they’re so practical.
More citizen everything. I’m currently trying to figure out how to get more people in my area editing openstreetmap. It’s such a hopeful project but after years of editing like mad I’m starting to lose hope for quick progress. It’s awesome that everyone can work on whatever they want but I think we may need community and comradarie based goals for progress.

Fucking hate the creep glasses because I’d love small glasses that simulate a multi-monitor setup. But 6 DOF needs cameras and I can’t imagine feeling comfortable being mistaken for one of these fucks for even a second. And in a public space you’re sure to eventually look like you’re recording someone if you get locked in on one of three monitors without knowing you’re looking at them.
I got a nice middrive ebike as my first. It’s great for things like large grocery runs etc but I’m working towards getting in better shape and picking up a beater for trips around town.

Thank you. This is what I scrolled through all the shit news to read today.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation does a lot of amazing work to defend privacy and digital freedom. Just to throw one example out there, they released firmware for a low cost hotspot to detect cell snooping via IMSI catchers/stingrays.
Because they’re an advocacy group I suspect they stayed on the platform for visibility. I can half excuse orgs who crosspost to various platforms as long as they aren’t only on Twitter. But individuals do not get the same pass.
It’s not a person’s snoring I have a problem with. The family dog snores like a motherfucker.

They can’t kill the metaverse, it was never theirs.
Probably the image itself. Does seem unlikely that bracket paper was shopped in or original, more likely at least the image of the guy is generated.

100% You’ll wonder why you’d ever go back.

Work profiles are a big sticking point for tech workers I think. Apparently some have got it to work, but my org’s didn’t. I think if your company uses MAM instead of MDM you might have better luck, but I couldn’t get Intune to set up the work profile correctly. I started carrying a phone size ereader everywhere so I just set up work stuff on that, but even then managing wifi for the second device is a pain.
Hijacking but I need to get this out of my system:
I was in a bar earlier and went into an all gender single stall restroom. It had a urinal with an absurd amount of pubic hair on the rim. I couldn’t shake the idea of women seeing it as one of the few urinals they’ve run across. No ladies, that is not normal.

Digital solidarity will be essential as we move forward. We will need both social solutions which facilitate community technical support and engineered solutions which make that support more effective. I like to imagine systems of distributed sever management where we build upon the computational capacity of those around us and the human capacity of those that care for them. I want to rely on people I love instead of opaque tech firms that only care about money. Compute power must not defeat humanity.
Can’t have cleared your orbit around the sun if you don’t orbit the sun.

I’m actually impressed more people didn’t die weightlifting with the things we see in stupid clips.

She knows the power she holds.
If I recall correctly he also used the terms leftist, progressive, and liberal as if they were all interchangeable. Truly a horribly researched video with nothing of substance. The critique of some visual depictions had merit, but god forbid he pick up a book as a part of a reviewing a literary genre.
Recently lent a family member an old phone and took a chance by leaving GrapheneOS on it. Of course they reinstalled all the google apps but it’s cool to see they can still get some benefit without major issues.
