Sorry for the ambiguity. What I mean to say is that the language this general is using very clearly indicates that the US has plans in place that have been decided on prior to any serious engagement. To call it a “prediction” is a poor choice of words. Thanks for assuming I’m a conspiracy nut you guys. Also, not everyone lives on Lemmy and can respond instantly. Whether you like my comment or not it is not cool to speculate on someone based a one-word statement.

That’s my guess - a coordinated effort to look weak to root out any issues with the clans that run each area. Loyalty check and you get to fuck with the West’s head a bit. If Putin wanted him dead he’d already be dead. There are useful idiots out there and Putin loves to look better than everyone else around him. Reminds me of a former US President …

Lemmy is easier to get set up for us folks who aren’t as technical as we used to be. The biggest hurdle for me is for social networks like Twitter or IG where I know people irl who won’t be moving to mastodon probably ever. On Reddit I never made a single friend during the almost 15 years I had an active account.

I have a backlog but TotK is what I’m playing and a little Diablo 4. I wish I had more time!

I just came in from Reddit. Much easier than going from Twitter to Mastodon.
