You are slightly and temporarily increasing the spacing between atoms/compounds in the stick. This spacing will effectively travel like a shockwave of “pull” down the stick.

VS Code with your favorite plugins is pretty fantastic for any editing in my experience. I’ve tried others and they do seem to work well, but not well enough to warrant switching, and they often come with quirks that are just annoying enough to make me want to switch back.

I suggest trying others to know what’s out there, even if you ultimately end up back on VS Code.

I would be pretty interested in reading a more robust analysis between the alternatives you list and GitHub itself. Going to each one and giving them a glance really doesn’t show me much other than “yup, it’s similar to GitHub”.

Presumably they mean on the PC side. Like a tool where git push can push to multiple repos, keeping it safe everywhere. I presume you’d have to pick some sort of pull priority order or something, and balancing changes pushed to different repo hosts could be a chore.

Shekel also sounds funny to us. It might be related to how it sounds kinda similar to shekel, but I think he’s just noting that the goofy-sounding name is real.

1. No Money. - Videos let me watch games that aren’t worth buying to me along with letting me parse games that look fun enough to buy.
2. No Time. - Videos can be put on during other chores or tasks, left on as background noise during times where I would absolutely not have enough time to actually play a game.
3. Skill Issue. - No matter how good I want to be, I’m ultimately just kinda ok at games. Watching higher level players can be a way for me to learn tips and tricks to improve, or they can be a way for me to experience difficulty levels of the game I will never realistically achieve on my own.

I think probably you’re too German. It’s kind of a goofy name from an English point of view. And, for clarity, we don’t necessarily generally think German names are particularly goofy.

Either that or I’m missing what the guy is referencing.

Rust is one of those things that every time I look into it, I don’t really follow what makes it so good. What’s a good starter project to learn the language and get a sense of what makes it worthwhile over the established stuff?

Yeah I’m vaguely remembering something similar. I have these faint whispers of a memory of my teacher forgetting (or probably, “forgetting”) to cover something on the wall during a memorization test.

As cool as that is, it does end up looking confusing. Maybe some quick visual indication (possibly customized by each user) to show source of comment could help.
