Don’t worry. It’s just satire.
Edit: well maybe worry, but not for this specific article.

He was known as Maud’dib. And while Paul could see the future he was not a Christ figure, but a tyrant and genocidal religious leader.
Yeah I’d be suspicious of that too.
I mostly just give a brief rundown of where I’m from, my majors in college, that I met my wife in college, and a blurb about my pets and kids. Oh and usually something vague about my job as well.
On the flip side: I have my sad tragic backstory down to a science. I can blow through it in like 3 sentences because I get asked so flipping often about how much I make ubering, how long I’ve been ubering, my marital status and my 4 different majors in college (I live near a college town, so this comes up often once they discover I’m an alum).
I drive for uber and I always just wait until someone talks to me first.
Otherwise I have my playlist on and we can just vibe.
Oh that’s disappointing. I loved the manga. It’s so funny.
Ah I figured out the issue. There was a Hiatus when I last read it around March and I never looked back at it.
Didnt Sakamoto Days already end? Hard to be next gen.
Edit: it was just on break last March when I last looked at it!
No, spending time with someone means doing something you both enjoy. At least it is in my book.
My 7 year old son generally understands that when we watch TV or movies together we all pick a family show or movie to watch together, and not just whatever he wants. Or if someone vetos a suggestion you counter-offer as well.
So if she suggests brain rot, you suggest something you both might like. The Wild Robot recently came out on streaming and was a really great movie. She might like that if you are hurting for movie ideas.
Spoiler for the book discussed by the OP
Lmfao I also just finished Red Rising.
Honestly it’s a pretty solid story. It does seem to be an easy trope way of motivating a husband however.
Weird. I just tried this and actually got alarm.
Disclaimer, I’ve only even seen hot dog octopuses in Anime and Manga.
Usually it’s just to be cute. In fact sometimes characters comment on how it’s childish.
I did try making them for my son once because they’re pretty adorable and he likes both hot dogs and sea creatures, and he thought it was lame at 5. At 7 he thought they were awesome.
I haven’t gotten around to watching Frieren yet, but I enjoyed the English Mushoku Tensei dub.
Manga for Frieren is amazing though.
