I recommend using a platform that isn’t as infuriatingly stupid like IMGUR if you don’t like that to happen.

Honestly, the mildly infuriating part is that people still use IMGUR despite the fact that it’s well known that IMGUR has gotten this bad.

That’s unfortunate then. But it was worth a shot anyways. If nothing else you learned a bit about UNIX/ Linux should you ever find yourself in a situation where that may be of use again.

Unix and Linux are terms that can and have been used a bit interchangeably in the past already. It’s possible that their UNIX category is just named like that from way back in the day. If internet speed and data limits are not a concern it may be worth a shot to try if the UNIX version works on your system. Simply because Linux is UNIX based but not officially certified as UNIX.

Yet here I am, enjoying a game for hour 1000 and more exactly because it didn’t choose to change up how it works for the 35689 th time in what feels like two days. I don’t have all day every day anymore to dedicate to games and that’s okay what isn’t okay is that these guys expect me to be willing to learn what is effectively a completely different game constantly. I don’t want to re learn that thing every time I play, I want to enjoy it.

Maybe I am the problem, maybe not. All I know is that I can’t be bothered to only put time into one game and one game only when there are more things in life I want to do.

Having said that, there is a reason why some corporations have the reputation that they have. Might want to fix the thing that is causing that reputation instead of blaming everyone else for your bad reputation. Ads… Ads everywhere, constantly, forever. Soon in all white with black letters and nothing else. Containing messages like “consume” “obey” “sleep”

Now would you look at that… Still a good idea to keep going with stop killing games.

Yet… Ubisoft did go and “remove” the keys for the crew when they shut that one down. No one but them can really say if they actually deleted them or not. though I have my doubts with how that company has acted in recent years.

There are reasons for why that is possible, for better or worse.

To reverse malicious actions that may have been taken by other people that got access to the account for any reason for example.

There may even be legal reasons for why that is the case. Licensing law can be quite complicated.

And then there is the fact that if it’s hidden it’s effectively gone anyways and that may actually be what people actually care about. Not whether or not they technically still have that game or not. People wanting a clean library is a thing and it ties into the concept that is the right to be forgotten.
