I guess that’s on you if you’re asking it something like “tell me yesterday’s news”. No matter your feelings on AI our current LLMs are indisputably a great tool for sending emails and summarizing large text as a draft. If you’re taking the output and running with it and not relying on any other external sources or proofreading then I could see how someone could come to the conclusion it’s 100% terrible awful.
yeah im not denying that but it’s not black and white. people either praise it as this super intelligent AI or act like it’s cleverbot 2.0. if you have low expectations and use it for what it’s intended and actually take a moment to review the output then it’s useful for lots of things
They definitely retrieve data too, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to send ask them about news events that happened yesterday and get a summary on it.
Yep. Sucks being trapped here forever unless I get a PhD or get rich.
Does Usenet have content other than just shows or films? Like games, books, etc?
Again I haven’t seen the show yet but usually when people say that it just means there was a black/queer character and it made them angy
I never finished the first show but I thought it was cool. At least a 7 for me. This Forbes review is specifically citing the reviews that complained about “modern day talking points” so I don’t doubt they’re at least partially correct. The show is probably mediocre to begin with but there’s also righties getting worked up over it. I guess I’ll have to watch it and see if it’s any good.
Wooo. Just doesn’t show properly on Boost i guess!
Exit the Gungeon is basically a different genre using the same IP.
Stories is real good. Much better than the recent pokémon.

Yeah idk how to link it. Here: https://lemmy.world/c/rimworld
My first thought when seeing the title was also Rimworld. Glad to know others are fans of the corn monopoly.
pretty sure you can’t send images on tinder
it doesn’t matter if they read it or not. the average non-techy person is turned off if a site/app doesn’t let them log in with one of their existing accounts (Google Facebook etc). Having them read a guide to understand isn’t beyond most people but most definitely do not have the attention span.
Seems like some of you guys want a secret club and not a proper forum/platform people use in a meaningful way.
If they’re charging less in different regions and people were using VPNs to purchase then you’d think that’d be a sign that maybe game prices are too high. They’re selling an identical product at a much cheaper price because the people in some countries are poorer or their currency is garbage compared to USD? Pretty gross to think about.
It’s not sympathy. It’s pointing out their own internalized self hatred as an explanation beyond them being some mustache twirling villain. It’s more pathetic imo for a homophobic politician to struggle with their sexuality vs learned values so hard that instead of coming to the conclusion that gay = ok they try to exterminate gays instead.
If they were just awful people for no reason other than religion that’s just straight brain rot but if you are literally part of the group you’re trying to extinguish I feel like that has to be the most embarrassing thing for that individual. Like just get therapy at that point.
I’d be surprised if anybody arguing in good faith would genuinely believe the above criticism is somehow a jab at gay people as a whole when it’s very obvious it’s just about the homophobe in general. The moral here is you can be gay and still want to stomp the rights of others in your same situation. I know friends whose black/immigrant parents voted for Trump. There’s psychos everywhere my guy.
it’s almost confusing this has to be said. the whole point is obviously the criticism that the people in charge of jailing/killing gay people are indulging themselves. I feel you’d need to be pretty dense to not get that, yet I see it mentioned a lot.
considering it’s something the vast majority of people have strong reactions for it’s kind of to be expected. for most people it’s as basic as craving food. even if it wasn’t in marketing it’d still be everywhere in art (songs, movies, etc)
why?
