Off the top of my head, /r/twobestfriendsplay is probably my favorite sub, /r/simpsonsshitposting is a gem of a meme sub, then some subs related to my hobbies, /r/hockey and my hometown sub.

Absolutely. I never liked reddit as an entity, but I loved the sense of community around the 7 or 8 subs I really paid attention too. Reddit was a big part of my life, and it’s sad to see it go like this

For some reason Lemmy makes perfect sense to me, but Mastodon does not. I wanted to follow my friend who was on another instance and I could never see his posts (I refuse to say toots)
