That really sucks. I’m sorry to hear that. I have some minor issues with types of foods that I love, but they’re not nearly that serious. I can’t imagine having this reaction to gluten.

I mean… How could they not be possible symptoms of a disease that affects the entire GI tract? Maybe they’re not as common, but it would make sense that anything of that nature could cause nausea and vomiting

Yeah that’s the name. Was struggling to remember. Thanks for linking it so I can go back through it later lol

I’ve been doing cyber security for years now. Back in the pandemic, I found a talk about using elevators for physical penetration tests. Went down the rabbit hole and now I can tell you a lot about an elevator just from the up and down buttons in the lobby lol.

I met a guy at a bar one night who was just starting his studies in cyber security. I’ve been doing it for years now and he was excited to hear all of my experiences, good and bad.

We entered a few CTFs together, but I’m not usually on the offensive side so he carried me a bit in the early challenges and we had to tap out when we got to the harder ones.

I haven’t seen him in a while. I should text him.

I hadn’t thought that some bad actor could use faker that way. I hope no one does. But I’m glad there’s some recommendation out there, cuz I’ve definitely used it for tests and realize it could achieve the same result

I mean maybe you’re right. I honestly hadn’t thought about that cuz I was getting 200s. But that doesn’t mean they weren’t immediately dumping the content. For no reason at all, do you know of any locally hosted ruby on rails gems that can use generative AI?

Someone who isn’t me has successfully submitted the entire Bee movie script over 350k times to various snitch websites related to reproductive health or gender affirming care. 👀

The author used to hang out on a forum I was part of before the book came out. I think he released it in a serial format and was really cool to interact with

Downvoted for shit posting in a shit post community. What has this world come to?

I’ve never regretted doing that personally

When I was in college, I would go to micro center and buy the cheapest printer there, getting the warranty for $2.99. Run out of ink? Return it as defective and get a new printer with the gift card, paying $2.99 for the warranty again. So I paid $2.99 for ink for all 4 years of college.

Add in some sour cream and I’m absolutely in agreement.

Streetlight Manifesto - Here’s to Life

Hemingway never seemed to mind
The banalities of a normal life
And I find
It get’s harder every time

So he aimed the shotgun into the blue
Placed his face in between the two and sighed:
“Here’s to life”

Except I can get crosswords elsewhere. I have two different apps on my phone that provide the same enjoyment. Maybe not up to the quality that people like from NYT but they do the job for me.

It’s really just Mastermind with letters instead of colors. And they didn’t even create Wordle either, they bought it from the original creator and tried to lock it up behind a paywall. I still sometimes get told I have to subscribe to play. I’ve mostly given up on it because it’s lost it’s appeal for me anyway.

Yes, a VPN with strong authentication is what you want.

Dude I hated it as a student too. The only benefit it provided was a one time get out of jail free card per class. Intentionally corrupt a word doc and upload it. You just bought yourself at least a day to continue finishing your paper.

That is a legal requirement. But myself and others got a settlement from Amazon after they stole our tips for years. I got a check for $790 that they kept from me. I dunno if DD ever got caught doing the same, but businesses do try to get away with this stuff.

Yeah the best hope is that upnp is turned on. I think that’s the protocol that allows automatic port forwarding to happen

0 118 999 lives in my head. And the …3

Let’s see your regex pattern that covers every possible valid email address and rejects all invalid then. It’s not remotely as easy as you’re making it out to be.

Not saying this isn’t a shitty pattern, but you can’t make a claim like that.

It’s not bullshit. This is a common practice. Sorry that medical professionals are trying to prevent abuse or misuse of drugs that are quite subject to both. You can keep complaining or you can piss in a cup or give blood and get over it.

I’m guessing you’re planning to abuse it, sell it, or you’re taking other drugs you’re concerned will prevent you from getting the drug you’re looking for.

Your medical record is irrelevant. Especially since this is a government program. Drug abuse is a very real concern and you’re honestly giving vibes of it to me. Follow the program and get your meds or quit complaining about it.

Sorry, when I said their employer, I meant the employer of the provider. I didn’t catch the VA part. It’s likely to be much more stringent in a government program.

It’s probably not a lie as this is a common drug of abuse. This might be a policy of their employer.

This is pretty normal when someone asks for a specific drug that is restricted. They want to monitor blood levels for abuse.

If this had come up when you already had a relationship, they likely wouldn’t request the same.

This also might be standard practice for her employer. But the fact that you got so defensive is telling of drug seeking behavior honestly.

Yes. I got 3 days in alternative school for getting punched because “I was in a fight”. The next time I made it worth it and fought back instead of just trying to avoid being hit.

You fine people for eating in their own bedroom? The fuck is wrong with you?

This isn’t because they’re autistic. It’s because you’re a giant gaping asshole and they truly don’t understand your insane rules.

How is PiHole not built for custom DNS? It literally has an entire management page for that.

I’d guess that it’s running under a different user. You can find the user executing it and provide the key to that user via copying it to their ssh directory, or by using an identity file option for your command.

Although now that I think of it, I’d create a separate key and provide that public key to keep it separate from your user account.

The complete history of Israel forcing Palestinians into ghettos and systematically slaughtering them? The fact that they told civilians to flee to the south and then bombed the very area they claimed would be safe? The fact that they claim the right to self determination but refuse to allow the Palestinians the same right? The fact that netanyahu funded Hamas to destabilize the region so that he’d have pretense to carry out his war crimes?

I don’t condone the attacks by Hamas, but to pretend that Israel isn’t trying to carry out a genocide is crossing a red line for me.

So the error is because a service is already running on port 80 (http). This could be nginx or apache depending on configuration. Nginx is very useful if you plan to run more than one service in the container. And it’s more trusted security wise than I would trust Lemmy right now tbh. I would maybe configure Lemmy to run on a different port locally, and setup an nginx site to proxy to port 80.

It’s been a while since I’ve messed with devops stuff though, so I may be misremembering a bit.

I write and record/program music, often by myself but sometimes with others. I never release any of it though. Last release I did was in 2014 but it wasn’t my music. I was just the drummer for my friend who doesn’t play drums.
