I was thinking: he could lie about the guard but not about the safe door, so he would still be lying. But that’s technically a half-truth, which this particular guard isn’t capable of. So you’re absolutely right, thank you.

You mean they don’t want us to know that cows need to get a calf every year to produce milk, but that the calves don’t get that milk but are raised for slaughter? Or that cows only live to 1/3rd of their natural life span, because they are brutally coerced to the slaughter house when their production goes down? Where they’re not always fully sedated when being killed? Chewing like crazy to get all the food into the milk (and manure), using up a large area in agriculture as well as tropical rain forest? Continuously producing greenhouse gasses for fertilizer for animal feed, or just by belching? Being kept under light at night to further increase production? Usually staying indoors? Yeah, I wonder why they don’t bring that up during commercials.

Also, monkeys are forced to get the last coconuts off the trees. Animals basically used as slaves.

You’re still killing animals mainly for fun, which is not ethical no matter how you turn it. Humans generally do not need to eat meat, as they’re omnivores. Keeping animals uses up large amounts of land and produces unnecessary greenhouse gases. With the amount of people and cattle being held on this planet, something has got to change in our behaviour in order to get things more balanced and keep a healthy planet for future generations. You try to keep old habits intact, which are not sustainable in the current world. Perhaps you don’t want to know about this take on things, but I’m presenting them anyway, hopefully it will have an influence on your future thinking.

Rainbow weather.

Too bad the police and politicians do not recognise the threat that the warming climate is bringing. Now they’re just locking up the messenger, equivalent to putting fingers in your ears. And then getting angry when concerned people take those fingers out. Hopefully this protest movement will grow, so that their voice can no longer be neglected.

Not acceptable at all. But bringing a cat would be just fine.

I once visited a wind turbine assembly hall where they had a huge turbine standing right outside, casting blade shadows every few seconds. They said you stop noticing them after the third day.

Wind turbines are one of the few good things we have going for us. To stop us from killing ourselves. I could elaborate on this but what’s the point when you don’t already know this.
