  • For anyone curious to investigate the claims made in this post further, my response is here:

When the Ted K archive was created a dude cried ‘why are you besmirching a brave anarchist prisoner of war’ instead of ‘sad it promotes some critiques of anticiv also, but I get the whole Ted K sucks thing’. I thought it was clarifying amusing polarisation so I stuck around.

The longer I stuck around in a space that is mostly inhabited by anticivs, making lots of debate posts and shit where I tested out my pro-tech anarchist positions, the more the antipathy and false rumors built up.

I’d post about how I’d found the world’s shittiest book that advocated castration and a dude would comment later that he thought I was saying the book was good and that he also thought he remembered me from a conservative sub-reddit years ago.

All of this is small fries, but I’m happy to die on the hill of not letting ziq have r/raddle back. It had been banned for 4 years and ziq admits they only ever set it up so other people couldn’t set it up. I think it could be good for people to have a space outside of raddle, not controlled by it’s mods, to talk about their experiences on there, same way people on raddle have a space to talk about reddit.

I also created r/leftbook 2 days ago for similar reasons, in case it could ever become a useful place for 2 or 3 people to connect once a year over some novel experience they had on lefty facebook groups.
