13 hours agoI hadn’t considered using shortcuts. I’ll explore what I can do with that. It would be nice to hit one button, have it set a timer, enable both these blocks, and turn on focus mode.

Thanks for all the recs everyone. I’ll take a look at them. It doesn’t seem like there’s exactly something that’s a direct replacement for Day One Journal. But, maybe some of these could work as well.
logseq looks interesting. I’ll have a look at that and see if it does what I’m looking for. Thanks for that.

After I posted this, an app I use on my phone, Screen Zen, released a Mac version of their app. So I’m going to see how that ends up working out. Don’t think it’s open source, but It might do in the meantime.
