Coming here to recommend Joplin, been using it for years and it’s a great note app, markdown + external editing supported, open source, CLI & GUI clients, encrypted… Does everything right!

I use Soho, supports custom domain, plenty of good features, it’s like £12 a year and EU based / privacy focused.

I remember in early secondary school there was a weird desktop that would briefly flash during the login process. A friend and I decided to keep logging out and in and furiously click around to see if we could access it, one of the times we did it and that desktop session stayed, there wasn’t anything special about it besides a blank windows command prompt, we closed it…

Cut to the school computer systems being down for over a day and noone knowing why, felt pretty scared of being found out over the following week!

I’m not a fan of that sort of violent video games, it’s made me struggle to find decent alternatives to my Rocket League addiction. I like competitive online games but I don’t care for shooters

As a vegan myself, I completely agree! I won’t tell others what to eat and they shouldn’t tell me what to eat. If I were to ever get “preachy” it’s purely about reducing impact on the factors mentioned in the meme and by no means forced… One less meal a week with meat in? Go you! Locally sourcing meat? Hell yeah, less environmental impact!
