AI is changing how we do work in California. With those changes come a host of concerns:
- Will it displace educated workers?
- Will entry-level jobs disappear?
- Will it widen the wage gap, especially for people of color?
- Can we trust AI work product?
- What about ethics and privacy?
Whether you’re experienced with AI or not, we want to know your views. It will help us inform policy that puts people first.

“Thong” is also a word for flip-flops in English (US), but I don’t think the younger generations use it.

A car’s 17-digit VIN has a similar feature, for model years since 1981.
The 9th digit is the check digit, and it’s a much more complex algorithm (since the VIN can have numbers and letters.)
Does anyone know if there’s a way to identify which of my 401k plans will be buyinh this stock once it gets added to the indexes? I would love to not have money in those index funds but don’t know how to tell.
