This looks really good! Love the visuals, this might be just nostalgia, but I find more “old school” graphics make it easier for your mind to “fill in the blanks” so to speak.

You need to find a community of devs that have solid knowledge about the relevant issues.

I do think people with experience can offer some interesting opinions.
