Some of the books I can make out:
- Ben Brown - Library
- 100rabbits - Wiktopher
- Stanley Lieber - Maude Mold
- MW Lucas - Httpd & Relayd mastery
- Unknown - Prophet of the Book of Links [comic]
- Unknown - Hackers Town
- Kernighan, Ritchie - The C Programming Language
Can I get a quick run down on these books. Are they considered special or definitive in some way?
K&R C book is still considered to be a good resource to learn C. K&R is also a popular C style guide.
I don’t know what this community is about but I like the colours!

It’s really just BSD propaganda, if you’re immune to it, you already won!

Man I want to go to this book fair! They were my favorite thing during school, going to the little metal rolling things, buying a book or maybe even a scientific kit! So many Encyclopedia Brown books!
The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect?
I notice a book on dash. I wonder if it’s the dash that is the default shell on Debian. I always had a historical curiosity about the original author of the shell that would become dash, Kenneth Almquist. It’s just such a ubiquitous piece of software and yet there’s basically no information about the person who wrote it. All I’ve ever been able to find is his original Usenet post announcing his Almquist Shell. I think it would be cool if somehow in her world, the techno mage is the one who figures out what happened to Kenneth Almquist, who somehow winds up playing a role in her journey.
Book of thé clown haha
