I think the algorithms just need more refining. 5 pages into ‘all’ sorted by ‘hot’ and lemmy.world is giving me posts that are months or even years old. Probably someone was digging into old posts on lemmygrad, found this post and voted on it and that’s enough for the algorithm to consider it ‘hot’ and bump it up for more people to see.

That’s a really good guess. We’ve had a bunch of old posts resurrected recently, and I haven’t been sure why.
Yeah this post has been showing up in the all feed for lemmy.world recently. A lot of libs have been seeing it and malding about it.
Yeah maddening. Imagine hating a ideology that want to eliminate poverty and hunger and promotes human dignity.
Why is it showing up? I’m sorting by Hot.
