Post your frigate dashboards or others you’ve found or even just general home security dashboards.
I’m looking for some inspiration on how to set up my frigate security dashboard. There’s so much customizability with the frigate card that I’m a bit overwhelmed. I’d love to see how you all have your security dashboards set up.
I’m hoping to eventually have door and window sensors, various camera, smart locks, glass break sensors, sirens. Let’s see what cool shit you guys have going.
I have a dashboard page that alternates between live frigate cards and the last detected view. I have buttons on the views to toggle detection and lights/ locks in the view. And I figured out how to add an image to lemmy with an old school imgur link

I’m having a hell of a time figuring out how to post a picture in Lemmy
I need to figure out how to set up frigate in the 1st place.
Same!
One of these days I’ll get around to digging into Frigate.
I honestly just use the frigate web ui as my dashboard. It has everything I need and can be easily accessed from the home assistant app. The only other thing I do is pop up the view on my fully kiosk wall panel when a person is detected for a minute or two. Makes it easy to just glance at who’s at the door without having to fiddle with it.
Right now I’m using Synology Surveillance Station, but I’d like to replace it (or just supplement it) with Frigate.
I’ve succeeded in setting Frigate up with two cameras and person detection turned on (though no Coral accelerator, so it’s slow and ressource hungry), but now I can’t figure out how to get Home Assistant notifications once a person is detected while my “Home Mode” toggle is turned off in home Assistant.
I’m not good at actually making things happen in HA. I’ve managed to make lights turn on and off via MQTT (output from RTL_433 which listens to some wireless light switches I have), but that’s more or less it.
