The green onions, too. We have some growing in a container on our porch. They’re super easy to grow, and are good to add some extra flavor to whatever poverty meal you’re cooking.
And sesame oil! Adding a dash of sesame oil to instant ramen while it’s cooking totally enhances the flavor. I can’t eat ramen without it anymore.

I love adding kelp to any seafood based ramen.
Eggs pairs very well with anything that has drawing of egg on the bag. Basically, adding more of what ever is drawn on the bag seem to be a very solid pairing choice.
Don’t forget the slice of American cheese.
My husband makes the best ramen, with pork, fried eggs, green onions, oils and sauces, etc. I’m never too full to say no if he offers to make some for me too.
