Pixelfed dev also announced he wil be building Kbin mobile app. Not sure if that’s for Android or iOS.

You can use the web app In chrome there is an option to add it to the home screen and it will behave like a normal app. Same thing is possible in IOS.
iOS’ support for PWAs is a lot worse than Android (for example, iOS didn’t allow push notifications for sites), but I’ve heard they’re getting better.
