Glad to see so many popular subreddits hopping on board. I honestly don’t know what kind of actual impact it will have.

    Hopefully it primarily raises awareness among users as to why the subreddts are going dark, mainly that they will now struggle to automate their moderation.

    It might lead to some users going to different sites like Lemmy, Mastodon, or Kbin. I’ve seen them recommended in some Reddit threads about subs going dark. Hopefully communities will rebuild outside of Reddit.
