My favourite JP2 fact is when he spend entire reign to go everywhere supposedly doing “ecumenism” only to issue “Dominus Iesus” declaration towards the end of his life, where he claims there is no salvation outside of catholic church. Seriously, that was so embarassing that everyone including Ratzinger and even the Moscow Partiarch pretended it didn’t happened. It also means that all those trips were essentialy tourism lol.
