This is a projection in Oakland. You can find the original art here.
The way-back machine found a March 2023 Reddit post by Aaron Bushnell where he said, “I’ve realized that a lot of the difference between me and my less radical friends is that they are less capable of imagining a better world than I am. I follow YouTubers like Andrewism that fill my head with concrete images of free, post-scarcity communities, and it makes me so much more prepared to reject things about the current world, because I’ve imagined how things could be and that helps me see how extremely bullshit things are right now.”
If you care to see the full quote, you can check @tinythunders on Twitter or Andrewism’s YouTube Channel, the community tab.
They suspended his account? That’s … so incredibly heartless and sad. Thank you for these links.
Glad I’ve cut my visits to that cesspool site by 99 percent. This will kick it to 100.
Yep, this is low, even for them
It’s more complicated than that (but not much) - pro-genocide trolls are mass-flagging Aaron’s alleged account’s comments and posts, probably causing Reddit’s automated spam measures to suspend the account. Reddit is just okay with their good moderators gone and the automated system they now rely on almost entirely gamed and abused. They may also be politically unmotivated to fix it in this case.

As someone who was permabanned from reddit for “abusing the report button” by reporting transphobia, I’m not confident this is just the result of an automated system.
