Not really. Eve Online is an anti-addiction since whatever you want to do, the game or your group wants you to do something different. As soon as you train for something, it will drop right out of the meta and you will have to switch. In Eve you have to continually fight for your fun like a raccoon in a dumpster with other racoons.
Betrayal is a little more stressful, and plays more like an adventure game than a mystery. It has a fun dice system inspired by table top games, and I’ve never played anything quite like it, so I’d recommend it if your looking for a fresh experience (which is the same reason I liked Strange Horticulture).
What games are yall interested in buying?
An updated Freelancer open world space RPG. It doesn’t even need a story or campaign. Just a living, breathing world.
Let me know if you find anything! What other games in that vein do you like?
Eve Online, Fractured Space, Rebel Galaxy
“Eve Online” The addiction begins!

I recently bought strange horticulture on sale, had a lot of fun with it.
Maybe it will go on sale, but Betrayal at Club Low is also very cool, and already cheap.
Oooo I liked strange horticulture. Was Betrayal at Club Low similar?
What’s I’m REALLY looking for is another ‘Return of the Obra Dinn’, but games that good seem rare

Completely forgot to grab Elden Ring at Christmas when it was on sale so really hoping it gets in there
I’ve been thinking about buying it too, but I bought Sekiro in the winter sale and haven’t finished it yet… I think I’ll wait a little
Sekiro got me into Souls series. What a great game.
