Is there any anime that depicts a doomer? Welcome to NHK is the closest I can think of with the hikikomori main character.

      Cyberpunk dystopia, main character who is constantly suffering, no music (only ambient sounds), pretty much no smiles

      THE doomer anime.

        Really? It does have a soundtrack that consists of two entire discs. But it’s been a while so I don’t remember the series in detail that well.

          I’ve watched a little over half of the show…it has some music, but much of it is pretty ambient. Maybe there is more music in the latter half.
