I think TIFU is one of those communities that can only exist when you have a larger userbase. There’s only so many times one individual can post a good fuck up .

I’d be reluctant to claim to be a film connoisseur, but I am a film lover.
I am however very, very into retro tech and media collection, and preservation.

He’s gone subscription now, but his old content is still available.
I used to watch this guy’s stuff religiously back in the day. Today, not so much, but I still check out his stuff every once in a while.
Did you find him while you were looking for a dash cam?
No.
I found him randomly on YouTube when he made a video about a very specific Discman model that is too small to house full size CDs, but still plays them just fine. Since then I decided to check out his other stuff, and became a fan.
The community is cozy and supportive tho

Also an underrated community that I like to use occasionally:

Lastly there’s my own little community I threw together awhile ago that I’m not sure how to grow where you can ask around for stuff similar to other stuff you’re into:
