      I’m afraid it doesn’t fit the Library’s spirit though :/ It shows a very narrow slice of the world and doesn’t help us understand the wider context of a society in which fixing things is normal and something we can tell stories about.

        Imo that’s quite short sighted of them. There’s ways to make a rich world depicted from the lens of an individual. And I think you did that well enough. Though based on the images I see in the library (all zoomed out shots, some with zero people at all), it sounds like the library curator does not understand that.

        I’m honestly surprised such a small site, based on open source and positive community, would be so picky.

          It’s their project, I don’t grudge! I saw the website and wanted to draw something that I thought would be fitting of the solarpunk lifestyle, so I did. Turns out solarpunk is very complex and I don’t actually know what it is. I thought it was about being vegan and fixing stuff.

          It’s really sweet how you guys are all teaming up behind me. We could probably organize a real witch hunt, if we tried!
